I've spent more than 30 years helping people make smarter decisions with their money — and I still find it just as rewarding as when I started.

As a mortgage strategist and financial planner, I don't just help clients get a loan. I help them build a strategy around it. To me, a mortgage isn't just a transaction — it's one of the most powerful financial tools you have. When it's structured the right way, it can improve your cash flow, build equity faster, and actually move you closer to your long-term goals. When it's not, it can quietly work against you for years.

That's why I take the time to really get to know each client before I ever start talking numbers. What are you trying to accomplish? What does your financial life look like today, and where do you want it to go? Those conversations matter — because the right mortgage for your neighbor may be completely wrong for you.

I work with all kinds of clients — first-time buyers figuring out where to start, growing families thinking about their next move, and high-net-worth individuals looking to use debt more strategically. But no matter who I'm working with, my approach is the same: listen carefully, think long-term, and give you guidance I'd be comfortable giving my own family.

Most of my clients become long-term clients. I think that says more than anything else I could put on this page.

When I'm not working, I'm with my family — my wife, kids, and grandchildren, who keep me grounded and remind me what all this planning is really for. And when I can get outside, I'm usually on a bike, hitting a trail, or finding somewhere off-road that looks worth exploring.
